Carbon monoxide exposure will cause dizzyness, and gradual loss of consciousness; it is not unlike the effect of alcohol (anoxia even causes a similar sense of euphoria), however, it does progress to the point of death if it continues.

Carbon monoxide holds very tight to the molecules that in red blood cells that carry oxygen. And they do not let go. The symptoms would be like not getting enough air. You would feel dizzy and unable to walk. The brain needs oxygen and can't get it. Also your heart would race and you would sweat. This gas has no odor or smell or color.
