That's a very complicated question because men and women are complicated creatures. The main reasons are money problems, not getting along with in-laws, immaturity, not willing to work at the marriage when every day problems arise and not trying to COMMUNICATE one's feelings. Like any good thing in life it takes work. It's not easy, but if you love each other you can conquer the world together. Poor or rich we all have the same problems. Some just have more property and monies to deal with in a divorce.

I was married the first time to a womanizer and it wasn't quite 4 years before I got a separation and then moved out. It was difficult for me to admit failure in my marriage, but when only one of the spouses is trying it isn't worth hanging around. I was so glad I moved out on my own (no children or properties involved) and I got to know who I was and for the first time in my life had some space to know where I wanted to go with my life and what I was all about. I ended up meeting a wonderful man a few years later and we dated, and have been married for 33 years. Was every day of marriage perfect? No! We had our arguements, we went through the "him watching sports too much and being a little on the selfish side." I wasn't much different. It takes time to give up a few things you are use to doing on your own and then sharing your life with someone else day after day. As we grew in our marriage we made a habit of sitting down when my husband got home from work and over a cup of tea we asked how each other's day went and if one or the other had a problem about anything we worked it out together. Do we still get into arguements? You bet! However, we love each other dearly and sometimes those few arguements add a little spice to our lives.

- Victim mindsets - Entitlement comples - Maintaining wedges between 2 groups (eg, men-women, blacks-whites) - Constant indocterination of new victims

These groups are not filled with bad people, just people who don't realize their hard work has exponentially magnified the problem.

Finally, the vast available safety nets allow one to easily leave a marriage without financial burden. Statistics found throughout gov't agencies reveal 70% of marriages are ended by 1 specific gender. The ultimate reason this occurs are the laws that benefit this group are generally 1 sided, and it is considered the other gender has been replaced by the "state daddy." More and more are finding less incentives each year to marry, and statistical proof is found in abundance throughout western world government agencies.

This trend will continue until large gov't has been replaced by a significantly smaller one.

I highly recommend going to YouTube and looking under marriage... there is a lady who has little videos about what women do to ruin their marriage. eye opener.

Not abiding be these simple rules will cause marital problems. You have to give as well as take in a marriage, listen instead of talk, be considerate instead of unconsiderate, be compassionate instead of reclusive, "follow the laws of god" and remember never get outsiders involved in your marriage, ie: "your family" and, especially the police and other governmental organizations, they will only complicate matters and make you wish you never contacted them.
