You almost certainly have malware that is redirecting your queries to a somewhat questionable destination.
You Can Just Simply Search it At Google. It is VERY effective.
"Saved Form and Search History" will do it, unless if you are talking about the google toolbar. For google toolbar just click the down arrow box thing, then click on clear search history. You can also go to its options and tell it to clear it every time firefox is closed.
