One is known as the Hard Drive (HDD), this is the most common storage device for permanent files on a computer.
Another is known as a Solid State Drive (SSD), this is a faster version of the Hard Drive (HDD), which uses chips instead of a CD.
The last main example is known as the Random Access Memory (RAM). This is used by the computer to store temporary files that need to be accessed quickly by the processor.
