Some foods to eat on a heart healthy diet should include fatty fish, whole grains, beans, and vegetables rich in beta carotene and lutein. Salmon and tuna are good fish rich in Omega-3 fatty acids. Whole grains include whole wheat, flax seeds, and oatmeal. For beans and legumes, one could use walnuts, almonds, and black beans. Vegetables good for one's heart include spinach, broccoli, carrots, red bell peppers, and asparagus.
