What can you sell at flea markets? Anything! Here are some tips for selling items successfully:

1. Sell what people WANT! There's a difference between what people need and what people want, they don't always buy what they need.

2. Sell consumable items. Sell things that people will use, run out of and need to buy more, hopefully from you. Weight sets and stereo speakers are not consumable. Cookies, shampoo, nutritional supplements are.

3. Sell what everyone can use. If you only sell purses, you automatically cut yourself short. Men don't buy purses. If you only sell kids toys, you don't make sales from people without kids, or from most adults.

4. Be the only one selling it. Why sell what everyone else is selling? Cut out any competition and you'll put yourself in the enviable position of being the only vendor that people can buy that stuff from.

Many times, wholesale companies will have sales that will save you a ton of money if you can buy in large amounts. The more you buy at one time, the less per item you will pay! So save that money and get ready to buy in bulk.

6. Sell new items, not used. You can make a little money selling used items.
