most pharmacist in the recent years have got foot surgery from standing too long. also there is a very low wage from £19,200 to 28,000 unless your a manager. the demand is high and is a very competitive job so it's hard to find a job. so i advise not to become one because it has ruined my life, i cant find a job and i work as a taxi driver. i've searched all over uk and there are no jobs for me even though ive got my masters

- getting robbed
- chemical exposures
- disease exposure from customers who come in to buy prescriptions
- a variety of soft tissue injuries from working intensely with small objects or with computers.

Some drugs used in imaging studies (x-rays) are radioactive.
Some chemotherapy (cancer-treating) drugs are dangerous if touched by anyone other than the patient.
Some drugs that contain hormones are dangerous for pregnant women to handle because they could harm the fetus.
Pharmacists are educated and trained in the proper handling and disposal of these drugs so it is rare that they are harmed by them.
