Well non-mormons think that mormons:

  • are polygamists (aka they have several wifes)
  • are not allowed to have caffeine
  • dont believe in god

NONE OF THIS IS TRUE! TRUST ME I AM A MORMON!

While the Mormons and 7the day adventists share some features the movements are quite different with different beliefs and different backgrounds.

Since Mormonism began in 1830, the main challenge Mormons have faced is criticism for their beliefs. At times this has caused violence, and some have even been killed for their beliefs, but for the most part it is just a general unacceptance.

Because non-Mormons were threatened by their religion and that it was beginning so successfully. Also, because non-Mormons were upset with some on the Mormons beliefs. Then once non-Mormons started fighting, Mormons fought back a little, and then moved because they realized this isn't what they were all about.

It is about impossible to find adjectives to cover an entire group, because everyone is different. Some adjectives that describe some of their beliefs may be:modestchastehumbleforgiving

your personality, thoughts, talents, ideas, beliefs, DNA, fingerprints, humour, interests, the list is endless. we are all completely different :)

Some of the beliefs of the Roman Catholic Church and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) are similar, such as their belief that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior of the mankind, Baptism is required for salvation, women cannot be in the priesthood, and that the Bible is the word of God. However, the churches are NOT the same and have many beliefs that are very different from one another. For example, Catholics believe in the Trinity and Nicene Creed, Mormons do not. Catholics have nuns and saints, Mormons do not. Mormons have scripture in addition to the Bible, Catholics do not. Mormons believe in modern prophets, Catholics do not.

what were some ideas or beliefs of each philosophers

In a country that has one of it's rights as 'Freedom of Religion'. In 1847 the Mormons were not provided that right. The federal government under President Polk refused to protect the Mormons and Mobs & terrorist's burned their homes and forced them to flee for their lives from the state of Illinois. Just because the Mormons had some different religious beliefs than their Christian neighbors.

"Mormons" are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. There are over 14 million Mormons from all walks of life - they come from all nations, races, and cultures. They come from every level of education and wealth. Some are conservative and some are liberal, some are very strict about their religious adherance and others are not. There are no 'different types' because Mormons come from ALL 'types' - they are just like regular people. There are some groups that have broken off from the Mormon church for various reasons, and some may refer to members of these groups as 'different types of Mormons' - although they are not technically Mormons at all, they do have some common beliefs and common history. There are way to many of these groups to list here, but they include the Community of Christ (sometimes called "Josephites"), Church of Christ Temple Lot ("Hendrickites"), The Church of Jesus Christ ("Bickertonites"), Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints ("Strangites"), and various polygamous groups including the FLDS, Apostolic United Brethren, Centennial Park, and others. Additionally, there are many independent Mormons, who have Mormon beliefs and practices but do not officially belong to any church. These "other types of Mormons" sometimes refer to mainstream Mormons (the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) as "Brighamites".

Brigham Young was a Mormon, so his faith in the mission of Joseph Smith shaped many of his beliefs. He was a very pragmatic and practical man. Most unusually, he believed that plural marriage was closer to God's will for man than monogamous marriage. He had several wives himself and he encouraged all of the Mormons to follow his example.

Some people won't accept ideas or beliefs unless they see some proof or reason; no blind following of authority or blind acceptance of religious beliefs.

Belief in God. The Torah and its attitudes, beliefs and commands.

Islam & Christianity have some common beliefs but certainly they have different beliefs including dogmatic ones since they are different religions.

No. They are some branch of Christianity, but they are not Mormons.

Yes they do. Mormons place the birth of Christ high on their beliefs, and mangers are often displayed as a nativity scene outside some of their churches and Temples. The Primary children often act out the scene on a Sunday nearest to Christmas day.

Some different ideas for summer entertaining could be to have an adult themed party. Hawaiian and tropical themes are popular. Cook outs and summer bonfires are also some good summer entertaining ideas.

Anyone who is a "Mormon" is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The church is very unified in its organization and doctrine, so all Mormons should have most of the same beliefs and practices. However, Mormons do come from all races, nationalities, cultures, and backgrounds. Mormons are rich and poor, White and Black, Asian and Hispanic. They are united by their common faith and nothing else. Of course everyone has a different level of activity or involvement in their religious faith. Some Mormons are more religous than others, just as you would find in any religion. Mormons sometimes refer to 'active', 'less-active', and 'non-active' members, which refers to how active an individual is in their congregation. There are also a small number who claim to be Mormon but are actually members of various break off groups. They still believe the basic foundation of Mormonism, and so call themselves Mormons, but disagree with the mainstream Mormon church on some aspect. For example, some call themselves "Mormon Fundamentalists" or "Mormon Polygamists". These are not members of the mainstream Mormon church, so they are not technically Mormons. They belong to splinter groups which broke off when the mainstream church banned the practice of polygamy. They are not recognized as Mormons by the "Mormon" church. You need to describe the question better. Thank You!

Mormons have extra scripture like the Book of Mormon. Some different beliefs are: 1.Catholics believe that there is 1 heaven,Mormons believe that there are 3 heavens. 2.Catholics believe that Jesus will not return until the end of the world,Mormons believe that Jesus came to the Americas around 34 AD. 3.Caholics believe that no one can be like God,Mormons believe that there are many gods and they can also become a god.(They only worship the God of this world.) 4. Catholics and Mormons both believe in pre-existence but Mormons believe that in this way:God has at least 1 wife in heaven,(Heavenly Mother)That wife gave birth to spirit beings (us) and sent the spirit beings to Earth in physical bodies. These are just some differences. There are more.

It is different things for different people. i understand but can i have some ideas

Actually, Mormons are Christian because they believe in Jesus Christ. Mormon is just a nickname for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. However, some Christians believe in the trinity, where the three members of the Godhead are all one person, but Mormons believe that the members of the Godhead are three separate beings.

There is different groups within a religion because some people have different variations of beliefs

Yes, in that many people have different beliefs, be they based on science or religion or customs or some other influence.
