More jobs for the local people. Farming was the islands main money source up until tourism happened. 85% of the countries money is earned my tourism and 2% by farming.

Mostly German people have been buying luxe villas which makes the value of houses higher. This means that the local people cannot afford to buy houses.

Tourism provides alot of jobs for local people however Majorca is cold from November to April so they need to find other jobs.

Since tourism, they has been alot of eye-catching landscapes, but the local people have lost there traditional culture and they are really scared of how the tourism is keep on going to grow as the years go by.
