The Four Seasons is usually performed with a solo violin and string orchestra (violins, violas, celli, double basses and a harpsichord). Vivaldi's original arrangement was for solo violin with string quartet (violin, viola, cello) and basso continuo (cello or double bass and harpsichord or other chord instrument).

I don't know all the instruments but I will give it my best shot: 4 violins, 1 cello, 1 harpsichord (background), 2 violas, and 1 double bass. I think that these are the main instruments. I hope this helped. :)

Vivaldi's most famous works are undoubtedly the violin concertos known as The Four Seasons. They are in reality the first four of a set of twelve concertos written fairly early in his career. Also very well known is his setting of the "Gloria" for chorus and orchestra. Finally, there is a very celebrated guitar concerto, sometimes played on the lute; the slow second movement has been used in a number of movies.
