Hardstyle is a somewhat diverse genre of music. It has evolved in several ways, and there are a variety of different types.
Good places to check for new music include podcasts (Check out the Q-Dance Podcast on iTunes), the monthly FearFM Top 40, online hardstyle stores (looking at new releases), and by browsing forums. These things will give you newer tracks.
Here are a few tracks to get started, though.
More euphoric, commericalistic Hardstyle:
Brooklyn Bounce - Club Bizarre (Headhunterz & Noisecontrollers Remix)
Frontliner - Discorecord
Bioweapon - Eternal Vision
More raw, harder Hardstyle:
Zatox - Irreplaceable
Donkey Rollers - Chaos
Ran-D - Feel My Fire
Crypsis - Strike
Early Hardstyle:
The Prophet & JDX - The Dream
DJ Duro - Just Begun
Zatox - Tanz Elektric
Dubstyle:
Headhunterz & Brennan Heart - The MF Point of Perfection (Original Dubstyle Edit)
Organ Donors - Throw A Diva (Isaac Remix)

I recomend youe a dancer your not a lover by blood on the dance floor.
but that all goes into what your definition of techno is.....
The ones that sound like this....
Nightcore is a style of techno/trance/dance song that tempo and pitch have been raised, so not a singer.
There are endless amounts, hundreds. Too many to keep track. A list of them comprise of: Drum and Bass, Trance, Dance, Club, House, Intelligent Dance Music (IDM), Electrofunk, Darkstep, Hardstyle, Jumpstyle, Hardtrance, Speedcore, Progressive, Ambient, Breakbeat, Experimental, DarkPsy, Electrohop, Rave, Electronica, Electro-Pop, etc. The list goes on and on.
I feel the song that personifies the "Techno" sound is Confusion by New Order(The Pump Panel Reconstruction mix). This song can be found on the Blade movie soundtrack. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- That is not exactly Techno, because it has a mixture of house in it. The music is a mixture in genre between Techno and house, but it is not really Techno in its pure form. This genre we call it Techno Dance, and this is the genre that led to the uprising of Eurodance, which combined the elements of House,Trance,Techno and dance into one bag. If you want to listen to the original techno music it goes something like this "Drexciya- Oxyplasmic Gyration Beam" and also listen to "Kraftwerk" they are one of the first electronic music producers.
"Isn't it very obvous that European techno is mostly WAY better than American techno music? It just happens that Techno music enjoys a huge mainstream popularity in Europe, and most of the Techno music is being produced in Europe. Europe boasts most of the top techno Dj's there is, the likes of: Dj Tiesto, Gigi D'agostino, Scooter, Daft Punk, David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, Basshunter, Bob Sinclar, Darude, Dj Dean, Edward Maya... This list could go for ages.. I haven't even heard of any American techno artists... They must be very underground in America...." Okay, first: techno is actually a sub-genre of electronic dance music that was INVENTED in America, specifically Detroit, in the early 80s. House, the genre that got the whole EDM scene going was invented in Chicago. Second, if you haven't heard of American EDM artists and djs then you haven't heard of BT, Moby, Deepdish, Danny Tenaglia, Frankie Knuckles, Roger Sanchez, Crystal Method, Christopher Lawrence, Derrick May, Josh Wink or DJ Sneak? How sad. Third: Its subjective. What do you like more? If you like the European stuff better than yeah, its better for you. I personally feel that house is much better in America (but France comes close); techno is done best by Americans, Swedes, Germans and the Japanese; the most popular Trance comes from Holland anymore but my favorite trance country has always been Germany. DNB/Jungle is usually best in the UK, but there have been a few outstanding US producers too. As far as Hardcore, the Brits excel at Happy Hardcore, but the US is the best place for angry hardcore. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dj Tiesto is not Techno at all, He specializes in classical Trance music. Gigi D'agostino is also not Techno, his music genre is Italo Dance. Scooter music genre was once Euro dance, but today he changed to Euro Rave music known as Jump style. Daft punk was never Techno, they are best known as French House music. David Guetta is an Electro House genre artist, he was once Eurodance and Rave. Armin Van buuren is part Classical Trance and Progressive Trance, he even specializes in Vocal Trance. Basshunter was once Eurodance, now he is more Euro Rave with a bit of Electro House. Bob sinclair is French house Darude is Eurodance and Euro-Trance Dj Dean is Euro-Trance Edward Maya is Vocal House Techno is hard to find now a days, most of the original Techno is from the 80's known as Detroit Techno. Its not impossible to find Techno now a days, you just need to find an underground site that will show you their releases, because they are hard to find.
