If you go on the Caring Consumer website it will tell you the companies that do and don't test on animals.
Procter & Gambles is one of the many companies that still tests on animals. In the United States there is a legal requirement to prove that new products will not hurt consumers and unfortunately animal testing is one of the traditional methods to do this.
Hey Im the one who wrote this question and im really wonder what shampoo companies dont test their products on animals!
Yes they do!
No Pantene does NOT test on animals. IF they did, they would be in SO much trouble. If you know/think a shampoo DOEs test in animals, TELL someone, or a authority. HOPE I HELPED! PS. Im 13 XD
In my opinion no. i believe that animals should be treated as equals compared to humans. Some companies test shampoo on animals but why not humans? i think they believe that if something happens to the tested animal i.e. rash then they can improve the shampoo but if a human is tested then they get a rash or infection, then they coiuld get the company in trouble, but that is just my opinion
alot of shampoo manufacturers do, it will say wether or not they do on on the back of the shampoo bottle

Some companies will test products on animals. Which makes no sense since animal skin will react differently than human skin. These companies are cruel and will usually not care for the animals properly.
Yes it does. That's why we should not use it for special purposes.
Some companies that use test animals get the larger test subjects from Dog pounds sometimes from puppy mills and animal shelters. For smaller animals like Mice or rats I'm pretty sure they breed them their selves
