There are no definitive tests that indicate arthritis or the type of arthritis. Test are run for inflammation, rheumatoid factor, c reactive protein, x rays and scans, it takes a combination of these tests over time to find inflammatory arthritis RA Osteoarthritis becomes evident with x rays especially in the absence of inflammation and rheumatoid factor.

There are no tests that determine arthritis. However there are certain physical reactions that may indicate that arthritis is among other things their cause.

The first thing is imaging, xray to actually look at the joint after that arthritis is often the cause of inflammation, in the case of autoimmune disease like Rheumatoid arthritis there are test that look at the composition of blood that relate to the immune system such as rheumatoid factor, but none of the tests will specifically indicate Arthritis.
