I make salads with a base of lettuce and mixed greens. You can be creative and put a variety of vegetables on top--your choice!
Suggestions:
sprouts
kidney beans
garbanzo beans
sunflower seeds
chopped veggies such as--
carrots
beets
radishes
avocados
cucumber
jicama
broccoli
tomatoes
cauliflower
Other items you can add:
croutons
vegetarian fake bacon bits
chopped hard boiled eggs
Don't forget salad dressing! You can splash on olive oil and flavored vinegars, or buy/make standard dressings such as Italian, French, Ranch, Blue Cheese--I'll add the link to my favorite salad dressing below:
