The United States Military Academy (Army) at West Point, NY, the United States Naval Academy (Navy/Marine Corps) at Annapolis, MD, and the United States Air Force Academy (Air Force) at Colorado Springs, CO.
There are two more that Federal Service Academies but they are not exactly 'Military". The United States Coast Guard Academy at New London, CT which, although technically under the Department of Homeland Security instead of the Department of Defense, is run much along the lines of the other three colleges. In addition, the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, NY is also run under the same organizational template, and the Graduates have a choice to join the civilian Merchant Marine service, or be commissioned as an officer in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, or National Guard.
Incidentally, a graduate of any of the first three may, through an exchange program. be commissioned as an officer in any of the sister services. (Ex. an Air Force Academy graduate may be commissioned a U. S. Marine second lieutenant as long as a Naval Academy Graduate of the same year is commissioned in the Air Force). The 3 major ones are West Point (Army), the Naval Academy (Navy/Marine Corps), and the Air Force Academy (Air Force). There are also several other, smaller military academies, such as the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) in Lexington, VA and the Citadel in Charleston, SC.
