I usually get refurbished phones, normally this means the first customer bought it and returned it for whatever reason (not defective) and it has been reset to defaults and everything cleared. normally the warranty is the same and I've never had a problem with them.
Consumer law also states that any phone bought, and used just once then returned, cannot be sold as new.
A refurbished phone could also mean the phone was defective. However, the wireless provider will have fixed the phone and it should work like new.
My answer is that if you don't have any problem in buying refurbished phones then yes. I also recently buy a refurbished phone from 4Gadgets.com and it works just like new phones. I have not faced any problem yet and it's working is also fine in fact superb. So,a s per your preference and values you can choose it.

∙ 7y agoIf the phone is genuinely refurbished and offered on the manufacturers' website or the service providers', then certainly. The best way to look at it is that the phone was manufactured, tested, then sent out... someone probably wasn't satisfied with it, so they returned it... the service provider or manufacturer cleared it, tested it again, and is reselling it.
I totally agree with Eric point that it's not necessary that the refurbished phone has any problem and if there is then the seller is going to take care of it then only after that they will resell it. Buy it from a genuine or a trustworthy store which can be a brick and mortar shop or a web store just like 4Gadgets.com. It's the rule that once a cell phone is sold then you can't sell it again as a new phone and hence it lies in the category of refurbished phones.

Refurbished cell phones are a very cost effective way to replace a broken cell phone or just get a new phone. Places like Ebay have refurbished phones even cheaper than the cell phone stores themselves.
