Peasants didn't want to be villeins, or servants to their lords anymore. They wanted to be freemen, and they went to the king because they thought he would hear them, but he didn't.

Another cause was that the Poll Tax was worse than before;everyone had to pay, and no one could hide. Peasants felt that the taxes for wars had nothing to do with them, and refused to pay them.

and another cause was: John Ball and other priests spread the idea peasants were just as good as the lords and the black death (many peasants died and they became more valuble they bagan to ask for more money/land in return for work and then they passed a new law to say peasants could not be payed more than before the black death), the king was only 14 and his advisors were useless.

I think that the Peasants Revolt happened in 1381, because the underprivileged peasants and villeins were sick and tired of being treated so badly. They wanted t do something to change their lives for the better. I also think that the peasant revolted in order to show people that they existed, that they were real people with real feelings. It could have also been a sign of attention, to get themselves noticed. Well, I believe the Peasants Revolt was an idea that fitted both of the bills.

The Peasants were treated like dirt in the 1300s. Working in the fields and farms, under the boiling sun all day, the unpaid labour. As you could tell, this was bad enough, but when the King asked for a tax to pay for a war that they were not even part of, I believe this really ticked them off. This must have been the time that they began to plot the Revolt. They had had enough. As far as I can see, this was easily the main reason that the peasants revolted in 1381.

Because their system of government was corrupt. In the medieval time period peasants were treated very harshly and most of the hierarchy of that time period you had to be born into. there was no such thing as social mobility until mercantilism and merchants (the middle class) were established.
