CAUSES:

The main cause of acid rain is pollution. When fossil fuels are burnt, or when vehicles exhaust systems release their fumes, gas emissions such as sulphur dioxide and nitrogen oxides are released into the air, and and react with water, oxygen, and other chemicals in the atmosphere: this causes acid rain.

EFFECTS:

  • strips the natural nutrients in forest soils
  • harms ancient buildings and help decays modern ones
  • kills fish with the rise of acid in waterways
  • kills trees by stoping them from making food or taking in carbon dioxide and producing oxygen
  • causes problems for people who has Asthma
  • causes other health problems such as headaches and dizziness

acid rain is caused by the fossil fuels that combine with rain and the effects of acid rain is that it destroys the streams and lakes, dams, rivers etc. do your own work, instead of looking for answers on the internet. so don't be lazy and do your own work for a change.....

Acid rain is actually very dilute sulfuric acid. It is made when sulfur-laden factory smoke hits water droplets in the atmosphere.

Why have a solution? It turns out that acid rain combats so-called greenhouse gas warming, so it is a good thing, right?
