In a hand sized sample, granite would have visible crystals of white to pink feldspar crystals, black specks of mica or hornblende and grayish smaller bits of infilling quartz. In a weathered outcrop, granite will form structures called tors which have a rounded appearance due to exfoliation.
Limestone will fizz when vinegar is applied. Sandstone will not. Sandstone is usually composed of visible grains of sand which feel gritty to touch. Limestone is not composed of sand grains and generally does not feel gritty to touch.
Sandstone is made up of grains of sand and when you rub it against another rock little bits will come off.

Granite, Granite is rock you can cut on top of it, place hot pots even start a fire on it and it would not damage the stone, but silestone you cannot do so
