The cure was genetic selection, and improvements in sanitation.
After a period of time the black plague had eliminated a vast amount of the European population, and the survivors with better genetics to handle the infection successfully reproduced. Similarly, this same natural selection is occurring in Africa with HIV. The is a protein deficiency that some humans posses that causes immunity to HIV (improper bonding of some sort). Another example is seen with malaria and humans with partially sickeled cells were immune, and became vast in population.
There were also medical breakthroughs that came through were doctors began to realize the nature of disease, and began to improve methods, and sanitation. (Washing the hands, cover the mouth, removing the dead from public, etc..).
There are cures for the plague but back when it was thriving there was only old wives tales (like putting a toad/frog on the boils/buboes or like shaving a chicken and placing it's butt on the boil) they eventually started bricking up the windows and doors of those infected and it eventually died out. Another way of people curing the black plague was by whipping themselves. These people also went stark naked and ran through the town, nude.
there want really any cure...but they believed that if they rang the bells, burn bonfires night an day in the streets to drive away the foul air, seal up houses and let them die or recover, write a prayer on a piece of paper and then eat it, or right a magical spell on animal skin and the eat it... etc. it would cure.
Black Death is the name of a medieval outbreak of bubonic plague. Today, it can be cured with antibiotics.
During the Middle Ages, there was no cure known that had any real effect, aside from tending the victim, providing food and water, and so on. The only thing that worked was a healthy immune system, and most people who got the disease probably died.
Antibiotics were the first cure found that was effective. Eliminating rats and fleas was a preventative that people could have taken before the cure was found, but it would not help people who were already sick. The first antibiotics that worked on the disease were discovered in the first half of the 20th century.

The Black Death (Bubonic Plague's) cure isn't that good. There is a vaccine for it which is strongly recommended. The vaccine isn't available in the United States of America though.
There were no cures for the Black Death in the Middle Ages. The first cures were antibiotics developed in the 20th century.
