At the Olympics the only diving boards used are the 10 metre platform and the 3 metre springboard.
At other competitions Olympians could also compete in the 1 metre board event but this is not an Olympic event.
In club events, junior events and some national events, Olympic divers could also use the 5 metre platform and the 7.5 metre platform.
In training there is sometimes a 3 metre platform available, which is not used in competitions.
Diving boards
Every Olympic diver is a different height . Most of the divers are under 5 feet 8 inches in height. A person over the height of 5 foot 10 inches may have problems may have trouble diving.
You usually see them in diving competitions. The water spouting into the pool gives the divers perspective on the distance to the surface of the pool.
Synchronized diving began in the 1930's at aquacades and diving shows. In 2000, synchronized diving was adopted as an Olympic sport. Two divers perform identical dives simultaneously.

I think that Scuba Divers go to learn about fish or improve the human's knowledge. I know that I enjoy scuba diving and it seems like the perfect way to learn. It can also be fantastic to see the different things that we are sharing Earth with!
