remove the coil packs on top the engine with a small tork bit then change plugs
This is a real pain. First in the wheel wells you need to removethe screws that hold on the bumper facia. The Manuel say only theside you need to replace the lamps on. I would do both sides to bedone with it Then you need too remove the whole headlight assembly.you will need a torx screw drive. Thes…e screws are very long. Youmight even want an extra set handy as mine were stripped and neededto be replaced. You should now be able to get to the bulbs. ( Full Answer )
Answer . The horns are located jus behind the front left and right turn signals. They're buried within the front fenders mounted on 'sticks' directly beside the radiators.
\nMy Concorde has the filter under the car in the area of the back seat. Look on both sides, driver and passenger.\n. \nThe filter is tucked up into a recess so you can't see it from the side, you have to be under the car (use jackstands!). Also it's inside a plastic stone shield. Follow the fuel… lines.\n. \nTo remove the fuel lines, push in, and remove the clips. This is awkward and the clips are a bit fragile, so be careful. Battery change in 1998 Chrysler Concorde . If it's the same as the 1999 Chrysler Concorde, you have to take the passenger front wheel off first. Then you un-screw the paneling in the front of the wheel well and there you have it. The battery is sitting right there ready for your removal. You have… to remove the air cleaner box as well to get to the retaining straps on the top of the battery. ( Full Answer )
Under the motor on the drivers side towards the front of the car. Follow the lower radiator hose from the radiator to motor to locate it. Sorry, but that is wrong. The thermostat is under the cover where the TOP radiator hose attaches to the top of the engine block...
I have found that on my 2002 Concorde, I can turn the wheel all the way to the right as in making a right turn. Then you have access to the battery cover in the front wheel well cover to the front of the tire. You will see vent slots in the cover and there will be I think six hex head screws. Once r…emoved you can reach the battery. But, it is easier also to remove the air filter housing which sits on top of the battery. You can then remove the two bolts on the hold down clamp on top of the battery and slide the battery rearward to reach the negative battery post clamp to remove that cable. The wheel well access cover is difficult to get back in unless you pull the air cleaner box assembly. You can align it much better from the inside of the fender so the screws will go into the fitting holes more accurately. 1998 concord battery The battery is located in a compartment in front of the passenger side front tire. Remove the front tire and the 6 to 8 small bolts that hold the cover the battery is in there. ( Full Answer )
It could be one of many things.......radiator fans notworking/low on coolant/stuck thermostat/ radiator may need to be flushed......
it is behind the front passenger wheel fender. The battery is buried within the front section of the passenger side front fender.. Disconnect the neg battery cable close to the firewall.. Remove the bolts holding the air cleaner assembly in place.. (Removing the air feed tube from the air cleane…r assembly helps). Once this is removed, you should be able to see the battery hold-down bolts.. Remove these and remove the hold-down assembly.. If you are removing the battery, remove the 1st battery cable.. Depending upon what battery you have, you may be able to slide the battery back toward the wheel and disconnect the 2nd cable.. Jack the vehicle up, put on jack stands and remove the passenger side wheel.. On the front side of the wheel well there is an access panel that needs to be removed in order to access the battery. There are 6-8 1/4" screws to remove. Then manipulate the cover until you can remove it, bending it slightly.. If you were unable to disconnect the 2nd battery cable earlier, you can now move the battery further towards the rear of the car. Remove the 2nd cable clamp from under the hood.. Slide the battery all the way out. It is heavy!. Reverse the instructions for reassembly.. Hope this helps..... ( Full Answer )

Answer . There are 2 Speed sensors on the outside of the transaxle. 1 is an input, the other output. Procedure for both is the same. Be sure to replace the correct one as they are identical in appearance. The output shaft speed sensor is rearward most on the transaxle's driver side. gently lift …the locking tab on the plug to remove the connector. take care to not pull wires through or out of the plug. Also check the condition of the wires and plug. the VSS (Vehicle speed sensor) could be fine and you have a wiring issue at that point. The speed sensor unscrews from the transaxle in a counter-clockwise direction. (1-1/16in oil pressure sender remover, available from Snap-on, in my oppinion works the best) Apply a slight ammount of ATF+IV to the threads of the new VSS and re-install in a clockwise manner. SNUG! DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN! 15-20ft.lbs should be more than enough. ( Full Answer )
After you have removed the wheel and caliper it should just wiggle free. Sometime they stick really bad (as is the case with mine), but with enough time and energy even a stuck rotor will come loose. You may try heating it with a torch if it isn't coming off.
if its the same as my 93 Chrysler Concorde its in the trunk, you first have to pull the lining out of the trunk, than it should be right under that on the right side. pretty convenient and genius if i do say myself puting the fuel pump that easy to access.

What can you do about the dim headlights on your 1998 Chrysler Concorde you can hardly see at night when they are on dim?
My 96 Concorde had the same problem. I found a bad ground and that helped a great deal. After looking at how the headlight lens had faded I but new one for about $120.00. replacing the lens took about an hour and a half.
Check the coolant level...if the level is too low, it will not flow through the heater core. Next, check the thermostat. If it is sticking, it will not let the coolant heat up. These are inexpensive, and easy to change by the owner. If none of these work, have the heater core checked by a mechanic. …An obstruction in the core, or the heater hoses, will keep coolant from flowing through the core, thus not heating the air. The thermstat is on the bottom hose. The flow of water is opposite of most other cars. Don't forget to bleed the cooling system when you fill it back up.
It is inside the front of the engine. Driven by the timing belt/chain depending on engine.
It is located between the bottom radiator hose and the engine. The water flow is reversed on this car. The thermostate goes "SPRING SIDE" into the engine. Don't fortet to bleed the air out of the cooling system when you fill it again. (Look near the top hose and engine to find it.)
