English is the offical language of America, but alot of immigrants don't speak English. Either because they can't or they won't. Either way it is a problem because if they work for you, how do you tell them what not to do, so they won't get hurt.

- Mexican immigrants are often exploited in the US.
- Money is spent on policing the border, building fences and walls, employing immigration officials, etc.
- Increase of the workforce due to more people can lead to lower wages, particularly in non-skilled labour.
- Some Politicians are often eager to blame problems on immigrants, preventing people from finding the other causes of problems, particularly when there is an economic recession. Immigrants are often scapegoats.
- More time/money spent on immigration issues means less time/money spent on economic or other issues.
