My late fish was called Arnold, although that was simply a term I used to describe him during my youth. His real name is unknown to me as I cannot communicate with fish. Therefore it seems logical that you should ask a fish this question as they will have a better idea of the two components of this question; Firstly, do fish have names? Secondly what are all of their names in England (and perhaps also the names of those out to the 3 mile limit)? Due to the isolation of many fish as pets or as freshwater or sea species, combined with the question "at what distance can fish communicate with each other?" (if indeed they can), it is unlikely that a single fish will be able to answer your question (ignoring the problems of finding talking fish for now). My suggestion would be visit England (as fish are often not computer literate) and ask a large number of fish. Also find some way of communicating with fish- the scientific benefits of which would be huge. Good luck! If only there were not so many different species it would be so much easier.
