There is no body of water that borders Canada to the south. The Arctic Ocean is on Canada's north, the Pacific Ocean on the west, and the Atlantic Ocean on the east.

To the south you'd have to consider the St. Lawrence River and the Great Lakes (Superior, Huron, Erie, and Ontario) as bodies of water. They are the only physical border between Canada and the United States. Arbitrary latitude 54° 40' north continues the Southern border to the Pacific Ocean.
