Sublimation is the process where a solid turns directly into gas, bypassing the liquid state. Ice made of H2O (water) goes through a 3-phase, 2-step rocess involving melting (turning from solid to liquid) and evaporating (turning from liquid to gas). Dry ice (solid CO2) skips the melting step; it goes directly from solid to gas. Oxidation,in its original sense, refers to the combination of oxygen with another substance to produce a compound called an oxide. Iron, in the presence of water, combines with atmospheric oxygen to form a hydrated iron oxide, commonly called rust.
They include: Combustion, Synthesis, Decomposition and Single displacement. Others include: Double displacement and Acid base. Chemical reactions are processes in which substances change into other substances.
The main four types of Chemical reactions are:
1) Combination or synthesis
2) Decomposition
3) Substitution or Single Replacement
4) Metathesis or Double Displacement

There are four common types of chemical reactions.
1. Synthesis Reactions
A+B->AB
This kind of reactions build or synthesize things. An example would be building protons from amino acids.
2. Decomposition Reactions
AB->A+B
These are mostly catabolic reactions. An example would be digesting food.
3. Exchange Reactions
AB + CD -> AD + CB
These exchange parts and make a new chemical compound.
4. Reversible Reaction
A+B <-> AB
Chemical compounds can be both made and broken down.
ADD: synthesis, decomposition, single replacement, and double replacement
There are six types of chemical reactions: synthesis, decomposition, single displacement, double displacement, acid-base, and combustion.

A chimical property that indicates weather a substance can undergo chimical change
there are four type 1) alkylation 2) araylation 3) cyclization 4) reduction
Redox reactions are divided into two main types.(i) Inter molecular Redox:In such redox reactions, one molecule of reactant is oxidized whereas molecule of other reactant is reduced.(ii)Intra molecular Redox:One atom of a molecule is oxidized and other atom of same molecule is reduced then it is intramolecular redox reaction.e.g., 2Mn2O7 4MnO2 + 3O2.
The general types of chemical reactions are:- synthesis- decomposition- single replacement- double replacement
Two types of displacement reactions are known:- single displacement- double displacement
cooking a egg or even burning wood are some examples of chemical reactions. there are still many more out in the world
There are four types of nuclear reactions. Fusion Fission Radioactive Decay Artificial Transmutation
