The only thing you need to do as a senior in high school is getting into college. Medical school doesn't really take into account your high school record, but they do look at every class you take in college, and to which college you attended. So I would suggest studying stuff you enjoy and making sure you get good grades. That way you can get into a good college, which will be more impressive to a med school.
If you have absolutely no preference in courses, it may help you to take a lot of science and math courses. Not really so that you will learn things like how reverse transcriptase works, but more so that you will learn to think analytically. Which is a skill that will be invaluable to you as a doctor.

That depends on the state you live in. In some states, sixth grade can be taught with either an Elementary Education degree (usually good for K-8th grade) or by a Secondary Education degree (6th grade-12th grade). Elementary Education majors need to take the same basic math classes all other college students take plus a "math for Elementary School teachers" type class. In most states, to get Secondary Education certification you need to get a major in a subject matter, then take extra classes to learn to teach. So you'd need to get a BS in Math, which involves LOTS of math classes starting with Calculus and going up from there, including theory classes.
It would depend on what classes are taken. I would say around 5 or 6, though.
