In the state of Georgia, normally alcohol can be sold from 6am - 12pm, Monday - Saturday. Sale of alcohol is prohibited on Sundays by all merchants. Sale of alcohol on election days and Christmas day. is also prohibited.
An exception to the sale of alcohol on Sundays is, when a municipality of 400,000 people or more, are celebrating a "festival", which means a specific outdoor public celebration or gathering for which a license or permit has been issued by the appropriate governing authority which involves the use either of public parks or public streets and which includes entertainment, dancing, music, dramatic productions, art exhibition, parades, or the sale of merchandise, food or alcohol, or any combination of the foregoing; and which of necessity requires for its successful execution the provision and coordination of municipal services to a degree significantly over and above that which the city routinely provides under ordinary everyday circumstances.

∙ 9y ago8am-11:45pm in Paulding County, with Hiram selling Sundays 12pm-11:30pm. 6am-1:45am in Cobb County, with the majority of businesses selling Sundays 12pm-11:30pm. 8am-11:45pm in Douglas County, with certain areas of Douglasville selling 24 hours, yet no Sunday sales. The city of Atlanta: typically 24 hours and 12pm-11:30pm on Sunday. I've worked at 9 different gas stations so this is where I'm getting my knowledge from.
