Plant and animal cells are different.Animal cells have 5 parts.

  • Nucleus
  • Cytoplasm
  • Mitochondria
  • Vacuoles
  • Cell membrane
1. Nucleus is like a person's brain.it tells the cell how to do it's job.

2. The cell membrane is like the skin.It lets things is and out of the cell.

3. Vacuoles store water for the cell.they also store waste products.

4. Cytoplasm is like water or liquid and fills the inside of the cell.it holds the other parts of the cell in place.

5. Mitochondria breaks down food molecles to give the cell energy.

Plants cells have 7 parts

  • nucleus
  • cell membrane
  • vacuoles
  • cytoplasm
  • chloroplast
  • mitochondria
  • cell wall
The five parts in the animal cell work exactly the same way in a plant cell, but let's see the functions of the 2 new parts
  1. Chloroplast- it holds the chlorophyll that lets the plant make it's food.
  2. Cell wall- the wall is like a membrane but is thicker. It gives the cell shape and it also lets good things in and keeps bad things out of the cell.

The nucleus of a cell is the same thing a brain is to a person. The mitochondrion is the energy cell. The cell membrane, of course, is a protective barrier around the cell. The cytoplasm is the liquid that makes and produces the mitochondrions.

well the cytoplasm is the "goo" that every thing floats in . the mitocondria is the powerhouse or supplier of energy. the ednoplasmic reticlium or er is the "highway" that carries nutrients throught the cell. im pretty shure Golgi bodies hold the nutrients that go through the er.. the cell wall (found only in plant cells) helps the plant stay upright . the most important part is the nucleus which is where the dioxyribonucleic acid or DNA is stored ... the nucleus has its own structural wall also

well both plant and animal cells have a nucleus which is the brain or demand center. a cell membrane controls what is good and what isn't. a cell wall makes sure that nothing bad gets into it. then there's one thing that only plant cells have and that is cytoplasm which is the thing that makes the plant green. so now you know from an unanimous person.

A good way to understand cells at first to to see them as a factory. This factory manufactures proteins. The membrane forms the walls. There are doors which allow necessary things to come in and go out. The floor of the building contains the cytoplasm. The nucleus is the main office. This is where plans are drafted and drawn up to make proteins. These instructions are sent to the rough endoplasmic reticulum (RER). This is the factory floor. Each work station is a ribosome. These ribosomes make the proteins. The mitochondria are the power houses. The Golgi body is the shipping department. It sends out the proteins that the cell needs. The vacuoles are the trash bins. There are parts which are brought out when needed as in cell division: centrioles and fibers.

Why do complex organisms need specialized cell?

Complex organisms need cells that perform many different functions. Complex organisms are capable of a lot of different things, and that variety needs to be supported on the cellular level. Without them, complex organisms cannot perform different functions.

What is the similarities between the human body and a single cell?

The human body and a cell both show similarities in terms of co-ordination. Both have a co-ordianting centre(Brain in human body and nucleus in cell). Both show division of labour(Different organ systems in human beings perform different functions while in cell different organelles perform different functions).
