Title 17 of the US Code (see related link for full text) covers copyright law
In general, laws are for copyright: they protect the rights of authors and other creators, allowing them to derive an income from their intellectual property.
The exact name varies from country to country. In the US, for example, it is the Copyright Act; in the UK it is the Copyright Design and Patents Act 1988.
If there is no law that makes something illegal, it is not illegal (which isn't the same thing) but for all intents and purposes, yes.
It is called an "ex post facto" law.
It is called an "ex post facto" law.
There is NO such law !!!
Modern copyright law is traced to the Statute of Anne, 1709.
The Government makes the laws.
That is illegal and fraud. You can be arrested.
the Stark act
Yes it is. The law only makes it illegal to sell them, and by implication, illegal to carry them concealed on one's person. Because it is illegal to sell them in Maryland, and because Federal law makes it illegal to sell them over state lines, the only way to obtain a switchblade for a Maryland resident is to travel to another state where it is not illegal to sell or possess switchblades.
That's a very vague and general question. A gun is "illegal" if it is stolen, if it is in the possession of a person not legally allowed to possess a gun, or if it violates a local state law.

Yes. Anyone can create a website and name it anything they want. Whether it may get you into trouble with others having similar names might be an issue. Names are not generally protectable by copyright law. Perhaps you mean "trademark"?
