The previous answer was terrible, the definition of a conflict, is either, man vs. man, man vs. self, and man vs. idea, the main conflict is man vs. man, which is basically katniss' fight for survival against the 23 other tributes, or perhaps man vs idea, katniss' struggle for freedom from the capitals ways.

There is an external conflict between Katniss and the Capitol/ Gamemakers, who are forcing her to participate in the Games. There is also an external conflict between Katniss and the other tributes, who are all trying to kill each other. There are tons of ways you could come up with internal conflicts between Katniss and herself! About her feelings about Peeta, about her feelings for the people in the Capitol like her Prep team, about trying to stay calm for Prim and her mother back home and tons of others.

There are many conflicts during the games. Here are the main ones.

Cato accuses District 6 Male (Jason) of taking his knife and swears to kill him first in the bloodbath. The security guards have to take Cato away.

Clove throws the knife into the District 9 Male's back, leaving him laying half-concious to die as he hacks blood all over Katniss.

Peeta confesses his love for Katniss in the interview and Katniss gets extremely mad as she pins him to the wall.

Savannah from District 8 sets the fire next to Katniss's tree and gets stabbed by Peeta and Cato.

Cato attempts to strangle Peeta as Katniss shoots Cato and leaves him for Foxface, Jason, D7 female, and Thresh to maul him. He'd been eyeing her the whole games.

The announcer says that only 1 tribute can win, so Katniss and Peeta decide to kill themselves at the same time, but they were stopped.

Amber from District 3 falls off of the monkey bars and splits her top lip open.

District 8 male "breaks his ankle" when he falls off of the monkey bars.

The fire burns Katniss as she tries to escape.

Katniss gets stung by tracker jackers in the neck twice and she is hallucinating.

Clove tackles Katniss and leaves a scar on her forehead from her knife.

The careers chase after Katniss.

Cato slices Peeta's leg open.
