A major misconception is voltage kills. When a sign says high voltage, it does not mean it will necessarily kill you. Charge actually kills you, as in an exchange of charge, a large amount of electrons can be transfered to kill someone. While 1,000,000 would kill you, it is possible to survive a high voltage if the charge transferred is low.
