1.The mouth-food is ingested cut,chewd and mixed withsaliva and it is rolled to bolluses which enter the stomach throughthe cardiac sphincter.

2.The stomach-food is digested using gastric juice which contains HCL,Pepsine,Renin and mucus that creates a protective barrier to prevent the walls of the stomach from being digested by active enzyms.

3.The duodenum-recieves secretions from the liver which secreats bile into the gall bladder to be stored,andthe pancrease which secretes pancreatic juice.

4.The illeum-this is where digestion ends.The illeum is the longest section of the allimentay canal .
