5) The general racism and self-loathing over having native American ancestry, although, some are not that way. Quite the opposite actually; some Hondurans, wish they were full native American, they hate whites so much, much as how here in the U.S. many black people wish they did not have white ancestry. Hondurans, either worship white people, or they loathe them, but one thing both sides are in agreement of, if you claim to be something else other than Honduran, they immediately accuse you of being something you "are not."

It would be an easier question to ask what are not problems that Honduras faces. Honduras has extreme poverty, poor education, insecurity, political and social unstability, and general pollution, just to mention some of the problems.
