The tubes that carry blood are the blood vessels. They include capillaries, veins, and arteries.
The pulmonary artery, which takes deoxygenated blood from the right side of the heart to the lung to be reoxygenated. The pulmonary vein then carries oxygenated blood back to the left side of the heart to be pumped back to the rest of the body.
Whether they have oxygen or not, all arteries carry blood away from the heart. And, since the pulmonary arteries carry blood from the right ventricle of the heart to the lungs, it is appropriately called an artery.
