most organisms need oxygen to live. all animals do, including fish. viruses don't resperate so they don't need oxygen, but technically they are not alive. there are some aerobic and anaerobic bacterias, aerobic meaning they need oxygen to survive and anaerobic meaning they don't need oxygen. plants don't need oxygen, as they photosynthesize, but sometimes they do, when there is a lack of light.

"Recently, a group of Italian and Danish researchers found the first multi-cellular creatures that live their lives entirely without oxygen. Those creatures are located on the floor of the Mediterranean and are confirmed by researchers with biochemical analysis and radioactive tracers that those organism are metabolically active. It's really cool."
The organisms that live and reproduce in the absence of oxygen are called anaerobic organisms.
These organisms are called anaerobics.
anarobic
anaerobes
anaerobes
All living organisms need water to survive, because they have cells. With air, not all living organisms need air. Some forms of bacteria do not need oxygen to live, and others can't stand oxygen.
Im assuming you mean 'how does an organism live?". Organisms live by breathing air that nourishes its cells, and eating, which does the same thing.
Unicellular organisms can be found everywhere. But they are mostly known for being able to live in extreme environments such as hot springs, volcanoes, and areas below zero degrees.
If you break down the word aerobic: aero- "air" + bios "life". So aerobic organisms live on the presence of air, specifically oxygen. The prefix ana- is a negation, so anaerobic organisms do not require oxygen for respiration. Some organisms (called facultative anaerobes) are able to switch from aerobic to anaerobic respiration. The determining factor in the switch from aerobic to anaerobic would be the presence of oxygen. If there is no oxygen, then facultative anaerobes will respire anaerobically.
It depends on what you mean "without." The trachea is also called the windpipe; it's basically a tube that leads to your lungs. Without some kind of air passage you wouldn't be able to breathe. (I suppose, technically, you could "live" for a couple of minutes without it.) However, there's no fundamental reason it couldn't be at least partially replaced by an artificial version.
The air. Most organisms live in the air! others live in food and on your feet!!
In order to live, photosynthetic organisms cannot survive without sunlight and water. Therefore a photosynthetic organism cannot survive in any place without water, such as a desert, or without light and air, such as the moon.
No one can live without air.
neva
you cant live without water or air
A person can live minutes without air.
release hormones
Yes, can they live without air pump?
For organisms to live and reproduce on earth, the three main thing they will always need is Air, Water and Food.
no
0 hours. The average person can only live about 2 minutes without air.
