For boys the visible signs of puberty... growth of hair on your scrotum and in the region of your penis (also around your anus), growth of hair on your ankles and in your armpits. Growth of facial hair. Your penis will get longer and thicker, your scrotum will get darker in colour and hang lower to accomodate the increasing size of your testes. You will sweat more and your sweat will begin to smell. You may get spots and blackheads. You will grow taller and your muscles will develop. You will find yourself think about sex a lot and you will get erections. You may find yourself mentally comparing the size of your own penis with the penises of other boys in the showers at school, this doesn't necessarily mean that you are gay, just that you are curious which is perfectly normal. You may also feel the urge to masturbate and when you do at some point you will eventually produce sperm. Oh and your voice will "break" and lower in pitch as your larynx (voice box or Adam's apple) enlarges.

Puberty.

Girls - develop breasts, hips widen, grow pubic and underarm hair, have periods.

Boys - grow pubic and underarm and facial hair, penis and testes grow larger, muscles develop and chest and shoulders broaden, voice breaks and becomes deeper, have wet dreams.

Girl and boys both have a growth spurt.

Girls... The primary change is that they begin to ovulate and can get pregnant, evidence by regular periods (menstruation). The secondary changes in girls are enlargement of breasts and growth of pubic hair (they will also grow hair elsewhere but most woman remove it). A girl's hips will also widen and she will gradually take on a more "feminine" body shape. Boys... the primary change is that their testes begin to produce sperm. Secondary changes are that they will grow pubic hair, hair in their armpits and on their bodies, they will eventually also grow facial hair. Their voices will deepen as their larynx (adam's apple or voice box) gets larger. They will grow taller and will also develop a more muscular physique. During puberty boys thoughts frequently turn to sex and they also experience frequent erections. Boys often masturbate and may experience noctural emissions (Wet Dreams). There is also increase in the size of their penis and testes. Both sexes can also suffer from acne (spots) and abrupt mood changes.

The most obvious is the increase in body height and weight. In boys, the penis and testis increase in size, they get facial and pubic hair as well as hair under the arms, broader shoulders and the voice can crack until they get a deeper one. In girls the breasts grow, hips get rounder and broader and they get pubic hair as well as hair under the arms.Girls also start to menstruate.
