Some adaptations include trees with thin, smooth bark. They don't need thick bark to keep them from drying out because the rainforest is so wet. Trees often have buttresses, large branching ridges near the base, for support because their roots are often shallow and they grow tall to reach the sunlight.
Many plants in the rainforests have adapted leaf shapes that help water drip off the plant to avoid too much moisture, which might make bacteria and fungus grow.

Orchids have adapted to sunlight and no wet soil
The rainforest has a plant growth type which is vertical, meaning trees grow to great heights. Some plants (orchids, are a good example), have adapted to this by being arboreal (that is, they attach to trees in order to get more sunlight, since the tall trees do not allow much sunlight to reach the ground).
The Tropical Rain Forest regions have the most diveres wildlife. Many different animals in the Tropical Rain Forest have many different adaptations. For example, the Collared Anteater uses its long tongue to reach insects in small cracks and holes where other animals can not reach. The Wreathhed Hornbill uses its strong, curved beak to crack open nutshells. Insects, such as the Costa Rican Mantis, use camouflage to avoid predators and may be shaped like leaves or twigs.
Two plant adaptations to tropical rainforests are water or rain because water helps animals and plants survive. Another plant adaptation is that a pointy leaf point tips over to help drain the water. Tabitha Fizer anwsered your question.
Tropical Rainforest Plants. The following plant adaptations enable tropical plants to live in the hot, humid, and wet conditions of the tropical rainforest.
The plants of Tropical rain forests have 3 to 4 tiers of plant height (canopies) to utilize maximum sun shine. These plants are fast growing and maximum litter producing ones. Frequent rains provide added advantage of soil humus for nutrient uptake.
One of the adaptions that a plant has undergone is this:
The pitcher plant has a cup to hold water for the plant.
Plants in the rain forest must have some adaptations. Most in the rainforest have the ability to grow in shade and be able to grow with large amounts of rainfall.
mainly poison but some will kill to survive.
the biome makes a rainforest a rainforest. (a biome is the climate, animal life and plant life)take the word and break it into two. a forest is a land with lots of trees and plants and sometimes animals. so put rain back into it and it's a forest that has lots of rain because of the location and/or climateAnimals and trees and all the nature around it makes up a RAINFOREST.

tropical rainforest
The tropical rainforest biome or environment has the most plants and animals in it.
The rain forest has the greatest diversity of animals and plants living in it. The ocean has the greatest biodiversity of any biome. The rainforest has the greatest biodiversity of any terrestrial biome.
a rainforest biome is a place were it is humid
skin that blends in with green plants! :) (apex)
The biome you are going to visit is the tropical rainforest. - plato :)
Rainforest.
a rainforest biome is all about humidity a the climate
They have to have sunlight and water in order to live in temperate biomes...
