Thereare 5 reasons to stop giving CPR. Continue giving CPR until one of the following occurs: * Advanced Life Support arrives and takes over (or another trained person takes over). * The scene becomes unsafe & you have to evacuate yourself and the victim. * You are too tired to continue. * The victim shows signs of life. * An AED becomes available and you stop to hook up the AED.
