Goku has two sons, namely Gohan and Goten. Gohan makes his debut in the beginning of the Dragon Ball Z series as an adorable four-year-old with a cute personality. He is kidnapped by Goku's brother Raditz (his uncle) and placed in a space pod for safekeeping, and this is only the beginning of his misadventures. He later turns Super Saiyan under the guidance of his father Goku in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and ends up fighting and defeating Cell. He later marries Videl Satan, and their daughter Pan appears as one of the main characters in Dragon Ball GT. Gohan is a very respectful and modest boy whose greatest wish is to become a scholar. Goten is Goku's second son and is portrayed in Dragon Ball Z as mischievous and naïve, with a hairstyle similar to his father's. He becomes best friends with Vegeta and Bulma's son, Trunks, and they come to be renowned as the devilish duo. That duo later becomes one when Goten and Trunks execute the Fusion Technique during the Buu Saga and fuse into Gotenks. In Dragon Ball GT, most of Goten's screen time is mostly spent either on dates with a girl or being brainwashed by Baby, a rather large antangonist in the GT sequel.
