the carpels/pistil or gynoecium (a collective term for all the carpels in a flower) is the female reproductive organ of flowers from angiosperm plants. The carpel is made up of ovary (which matures to form fruit), style(the connecting tube) and stigma(part that receives pollen grains (or the male gametes).
In a complete angiospemic flower it is usually the inner most part of the flower. For example : in flowers of Hibiscus (shoe flower) the long stalk with penta-forked end.
The gynaecium or pistil that contains the ova(female gamete) is the female part of the flower. The androcium or stamen is the male part of the flower that contains the anther with the pollen grains that are the male gametes.
There are several female reproductive parts, and they are:
1) stigma
2) style
3) ovary
4) ovules
For the male part of reproduction:
1) anther
2) filament
There are two types of reproduction.
1) asexual reproduction
2) sexual reproduction

The flower is the reproductive structure of the angiosperm.
Flowers are reproductive organ of angiosperm plants especially one having showy or colorful parts. It is also a plant cultivated for its blooms or blossoms.
The maple tree flowers as it's reproductive method, so it is an angiosperm.
