What are the requirements for joining TIP?

You must:

-- Be a registered member of WikiAnswers

-- Be no less than 15 years old

-- Have a good knowledge of the guidelines

-- Be polite, respectful and helpful.

You must not:

-- Be a current supervisor

-- Be under the age of 15

-- Have serious warnings (cyberbullying, illegal acts, etc)

-- Be impolite or disrespectful.

-- It would be a benefit if you are active to the site, however all missions can be completed in your own time. But the more active you are, the quicker you can graduate and potentially be invited to be a Supervisor.

-- As a guideline but not a rule, TIP would prefer if applicants have been active on the website for six months or more, though exceptions are often (but not always) made. Would you give your house keys to a total stranger?

-- You should ideally be polite to others and not have a recent history of disrespect or impoliteness to other contributors or supervisors. Supervisors represent the image of Answers - impoliteness is not a good image

-- Minor warnings are taken into account, but generally will not affect your chances of membership, whereas serious warnings and constant disregard for the guidelines could result in you being rejected.

-- Trust points are not an accurate measure of trust, therefore they are not taken into account. Only your history is taken into account when applying.
