They are Christians in theology. Jesus Christ is the savior, the son, deity in nature, faith in Him justifies us... However, they feel that it is ultimately God who chooses who will become a Christian and that when He chooses someone, they cannot resist His power. They believe that "the chosen" always receive Jesus and will never return to sin. Thus they feel very special as the chosen few whom God loves and they struggle to explain Christians who return to sin. They say things like "they forgot who they were" or "they never really were a Christian... their conversion was not real". It gets confusing. Because there is much error. We DO have a part to play in our relationship with God. We can leave Him if we want to. And many do. Those who endure to the END will be saved. We won't know who THAT is until the end!
Their "practices" are similar to that of Christians. No obvious "sin". Meetings, sermons, bible reading, and worship with songs. They don't speak in tongues.
