yes, my doctor prescribed both for me when my herniated disc want to come out & play & froze all my lower back muscles. I was taken aleve & stretching but back was getting worse could not straitin out when standing & always in pain.

So after a week of this I went to my doc he gave me both small amounts & in two days I can walk normal & back feeling 100 times better. Plus I have some left over if this ever happens again. So to answer your question YES you can take both at the same time. Also taken both made me a little tired but just felt really relaxed.
