- The only thing I know about the interaction is that it causes memory loss, sometimes severely. Choose one or the other, but not both.
- The results will differ for every person, but I have been taking Strattera for a year, and have been smoking daily with it, and have had no adverse side effects.
- If you have been taking strattera for a while, you should be fine. if not, it may slow your heart rate down a little but its nothing to be scared of. just dont let your friends make you think your heart is going to stop. but i would start with a small dose.
- I did it while I was "building up" and had no problem on the lower dose. When I switched to the higher dose and smoked I lost complete motor function, started sweating profusely, turned 5 shades of pale and and got really sick my advice is DO NOT do it when you are building up on the medication. It didn't turn out well for me...

∙ 18y agono one will ever really know since clinical trials will never be done, however it is possible to undue the positive effects from a prescribed drug by combining it with street drugs or alcohol plus you never really know what your getting

∙ 14y agoSince Strattera is not a stimulant like Ritalin or Adderal (Strattera is a Selective Neurotonin Reputake Inhibitor), I don't think there would be any life threatening effects. I've personal combined the two and I felt that the cocaine's effects may have been slightly muted by the Strattera, or it could have just been mediocre blow. None the less, I am not a doctor, and I would suggest that you read more into the subject.

Those answers never help keep people safer... I do advise against it, I had a really bad trip when I was "building up to the medication" but I have friends who are fine (they have been on strattera for a while though) I would wait until you have been on it for a while and test a small amount of it BEFORE you go big.Wiki User

Yes, mixing Adderall and Vyvanse can be extremely harmful to the body. Both medications are CNS stimulants, and have very serious side effects on their own. The combination can be dangerous. Do not attempt this unless your physician informed you to do so.
