Mangrove swamps are coastal wetlands found in areas such as the Gulf of Mexico and the southern tip of Florida. They form in tropical and subtropical areas where salt water and fresh water meet. Salt marshes are usually composed of deep mud and peat. They can occur all over the world, but are more prevalent in middle to high latitude areas. They are coastal wetlands which are flooded by the salt water the tides bring in.
salt marshes are were salt water meets fresh water and swamps are bioms with shallow fresh water and trees.
they are both basically the same but swamps have deeper water than marshes so have more variety of aquatic life and do not dry out in summers as marshes can.
Florida has a variety of ecological biomes. The main biomes are freshwater, marine, and land. These are further divided by ecosystems, including lakes, beaches, prairies, swamps, forests, and salt marshes.
Estuaries-areas where fresh and saltwater mix-are made up of many different types of habitats. These habitats can include oyster reefs, coral reefs, rocky shores, submerged aquatic vegetation, marshes, and mangroves. There are also different animals that live in each of these different habitats. Fish, shellfish, and migratory birds are just a few of the animals that can live in an estuary.

Not really. Unlike places that are near the ocean, Salt Lake City's air doesn't contain the salt that corrodes metal. This is because the air is so dry that the water from the Great Salt Lake doesn't really evaporate into the air and hover there like it does in coastal cities.
Salt marshes are more spread out.

Bog, marshes, and swamps can be freshwater, but not always. There are many bogs, marshes, and an swamps that are saltwater by coastal areas. Some of these have a high salt content and others have low salt content.

A halophyte is a plant that naturally grows where it is affected by salinity in the root area or by salt spray, such as in saline semi-deserts, mangrove swamps, marshes and sloughs, and seashores.

They are called mangrove forests or mangrove swamps.
