∙ 12y agoGiven the closeness in area in time period, there are many overlaps in the general overall aesthetics of Greek and Roman arts, ranging from materials used to mediums such as sculptures to subject matter of renamed myths and gods. The differences tend to lie in general, tiny aesthetic details given societal differences and other small edits like name changes.

∙ 11y agoOne was in Greece, and one was in Egypt. Ancient Greece and ancient Egypt were in two different places. They had different gods, different forms of government, and different attitude towards the treatment of women and children.
Ancient Egyptian Characteristics:
The ancient Egyptians had over 100 gods, such as Bast, Osiris ,Isis ,Set and Nut.
Medicine: people preformed relatively complex surgeries and medical operations
Astronomy: Saw the movements of the planets and recorded the constellations; made the calendar we use today
Mathematics: to help with the fields and building temples mathematics was used
Ancient Greek Characteristics
Ancient Greece had 12 major gods and maybe about 20 minor gods. Some of the major gods are Zeus, Poseidon, Hades and Hera. Some of the minor gods are Pan, Helios, Zepherus and Nemesis.
Good at making sculptures and very intelligent and lived on the Mediterranean Sea and lived in an area that was hard to grow crops

∙ 11y agoGreek Art is the original kind of art, where statues become realistic and potraits become more unique and original. Roman Art, on the other hand, is SIMILAR to Greek art. The Romans got inspired by them, and started to do NEARLY the EXACT same thing like the Greeks that time. Basically, Greek Art is the original, Roman is the "more modern" kind.
