The six simple machines are wedge, inclined plane, screw, the wheel and axle, lever and the pulley are the six simple machines.

The inclined plane (you'll see why I started with this first) is simply a ramp or slope that reduces the amount of effort force needed to move the load.

The wedge is two inclined planes put together back-to-back.

A screw is an inclined plane wrapped around a rod.

The wheel and axle is a circle attached to a rod.

A lever is a simple machine consisting of a rigid bar pivoted on a fixed point, called the fulcrum, and used to transfer the effort force in order to raise the load. There are three levers: Class 1,2,and 3.

Last but not least, the pulley is a grooved wheel with a rope or chain running through it. There are two types of pulleys: fixed and moveable. There are two systems, both consisting of pulleys: the block and tackle and compound pulley.

Hope this helped!

ier - A simple machine is a device that helps make work easier; a device that makes it easier to move something. Some simple machines are a wheel, a pulley, a lever, a screw, and an inclined plane. Harder - Most machines consist of a number of elements, such as gears and ball bearings, that work together in a complex way. No matter how complex a machine, it is still based on the compounding of six types of simple machines. The six types of machines are the lever, the wheel and axle, the pulley, the

Is eraser a simple machine?

Yes, a eraser is a simple machine, If we say what are simple machines, simple machines are machines that have mechanical device that changes the direction or magnitude of a force. In general, they can be defined as the simplest mechanisms. We have 6 types of simple machines, which are, inclined plane, lever, wedge, wheel and axle, pulley, and screw. Six simple machines for transforming energy into work. lever, is the type of a simple machine that have something to push down against. Some common examples are, like eraser, door handles, hinges, light switches and more.
