There are NO major religions in Islam if what your asking is DO the other religions originate from Islam then yes they do
Judaism and Christianity
And Only ALLAH Knows best
____
First no, Judaism and Christianity do not originate from Islam. Historically the Islamic faith developed after Judaism and Christianity.
Second, there are a number of branches within Islam. Sunni, Shi'a, and Sufism. Although Sunni and Shi'a are the dominate branches of the faith and some see all others as heretical. There are a few more sects within the faith and they are:
Ahmadiyya, Ibadi, Ijtihad, Salafi and Quranist. Again some do not see these off shoots as legitimate, others do.
Sunni and Shea. Both follow the word of god via the Quran just with different perspectives. I am a Sunni but honestly the Quran does not even mention neither Sunni or Shea; these branches of the religion of Islam were created by Muslims who simply had different opinions about the Qurans interpretations. This lead to wars throughout the ages that still continue today. I don't like to call myself a Suni, and I don't like that there is a separation in Islam. I believe God sent the prophets to preach one true religion, which is now called Islam. And only Islam, no Shea, no Sunni were ever mentioned
Islam has no other name. infact it is also called Deen-e-fitrat, means the Religion which is a need of soul & it gets attracted towards it like a thirsty 1 day old kid knows he needs milk coz it is in him from the day he is born.
These beliefs are referred to as Muslims as the Pillars of Iman (Faith), different from the Five Pillars, and are as follows:
The 6 faith articles are:
3 biggest - Sunni, Shia, Gardiani although only Gardiani Moslems regard themselves as Moslems.
The main conflict in beliefs is that most Christians believe in Jesus as God or son of God while Muslims believe in Jesus (peace be upon him) as one of the greatest prophets and Muslims don't believe in Jesus as God or son of God.
All Muslims have the same core beliefs. You mean islams, Muslims are people from the Middle East.
The Muslims get their beliefs from the Qur'an and the Sunna.
Today Egyptians are Muslims
Muslims practice their beliefs by reading the qur'an everyday, praying to Allah five times a day, wearing thetraditional clothing
Muslims and Jews are followers of Islam and Judaism, respectively - two of the three prophetic religeons, the third being Christianity. Muslims and Jews have many similarities in their beliefs and religeous practices and ways of life generally. This stems from their belief in one God and their belief in Moses as a messenger of God and the Torah. However, there are many differences among Muslims and Jews as well. The main reason, among others is that the Jews refuse to recognise Muhammad as the last prophet sent by God which is one of the main beliefs in Islam.
Mostly Christian/ Catholic beliefs. Small percentage of Muslims.
The influences they had on them were their beliefs
the main beliefs are: 1_that there is only one God i.e Allah Almighty , 2_Prophet muhammad(P.B.U.H) is his last prophet 3_And the Holy Quran is the last book of Allah
India is a mainly Hindu country, but there are lots of non-Hindus in India as well, including Muslims, Christians, Jains, Buddhists, Sikhs, and Parsees.
