Wheelchairs need a minimum 32" door for a straight in approach. If the doorway is located in the typical hallway and requires turning a wheelchair, you'll need a 36" door.
There are all kind of rules when it comes to approaching a wheel chair accessible door way. It's different if you're on the pull side which you'll need 18" clear on the latch side so the door clears the chair when opening. On the push side you need 12" clear on the latch side if the door has a closer on it. Anyway, the door opening needs to have a 32" clear opening so the stops on the 32" door make it not legal. Also the door itself will be into the opening unless it swings 180. Unless you find a 34" door (not likely), you'll need to go with a 36" door. That's the norm.
36 inches is pretty standard for commercial and residential access.
Toilets accessible to the handicapped come in many different dimensions. They are generally slightly larger than your typical toilet, however.
32 inch. 36 is too hard to close from a wheel chair.
The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) states that a handicap door must be at least 32 inches wide when the door opened 90 degrees.
30.
normally 36 inches wide or more
Years ago, there weren't standard sized doors, leading to a wide variety. Today, a standard interior doors are 24" or 28" wide by 80" tall. Exterior doors tend to be larger, and measure in at 32" wide or 36" wide by 80" tall.

Standard interior doors are 3'x 6'8" Well actually there is no standard interior door size. Building code requires the minimum size to be 24" on interior passage doors. That really not wide enough though. Most bedroom doors are 30" wide. Unless you will need handicap accessible doors, then you should use all 36" wide doors. Doors will come in 2" increments usually starting at 24" and ending at 36" wide. Standard height is 6'-8" tall. However, in homes with tall ceilings 8' tall doors are quite often used.
Wood doors are generally 1 3/4" solid for exterior doors. Metal exterior doors are hollow.
The door only (not including threshold, jamb brick mold or casing is 80" tall and the width varies. 36" (3' 0") is required for handicap and also makes it easier to move large objects in and out. . 32" (2' 8") is also common
because that is what they do
